Building a mountain railroad means building bridges. A lot of them. I haven’t counted recently, but there are over 20 on my layout. Each one different.

The biggest is Summit Bridge (not pictured). It’s still on the to-do list. That’s a project for 2025.

Designing and building bridges is a technical challenge. But it’s also one of the most satisfying parts of the hobby. Every bridge tells a story. Every bridge solves a problem. That’s the joy of it.
