I honestly don’t feel like writing, or making, or creating right now. I recognize this as my normal ebb and flow of creativity. These tidal cycles of expressiveness seem to arrive with great force. Not only do my creative juices wane, but also my desire for connectedness and collaboration. I feel a certain disconnectedness. It means I’m disconnected from myself.

I know what to do though. Stop scrolling. Stop pushing. Let myself rest, and then follow those tiny sparks. They will call back the muses and I’ll be back at it in no time.
