Weathering Freight Cars

Weathering freight cars can be done in many ways. Some folks swear by spray paints. But I prefer pastel chalks in earth tones. Why? Gives more control. You can add layers, blend colors, and create depth. It takes longer, but the results are worth it.

Here’s a quick 3-minute video. Watch how Eli and I weathered a couple of Bachmann PFE wooden reefers. Subtle. Realistic. Easy to try.
