The Everything Conference last August 2024 was a game-changer. I met fellow multipotentialites, swapped ideas, and left more fired up than ever. No one blinks when you say, “I’m interested in this… and this… and this.” They just nod. Because they get it.

This conference isn’t a typical event. It’s an unconference, where everyone participates. No passive attendees. No long-winded lectures. Just people sharing, creating, and leading their own workshops.

I ran a session on mind mapping, role play, and Scrum for One. Creative processes I’ve talked about on my Creative Shoofly podcast. The response? Positive. People found it useful. That felt good.

Before the event, I had an idea: interview fellow multipods. But with a twist. I wrote a stack of questions, half about creativity, half about multipotentiality. They picked one at random. The result? Honest, surprising conversations. Editing the episode was just as fun as recording it.

Best part? The friendships. I’m grateful for the new people in my orbit. I’m also grateful for the chance to bounce full Tigger mode toward all the things that light me up.

There won’t be an Everything Conference this year, but I’m hoping that there will be one in the future. I can’t wait to do it again.
