Stop Scrolling. Find Your Voice.

Can you hear yourself over all the noise? Lately, I’ve been asking myself this a lot.

For someone as easily distractible as me, doomscrolling is a trap. Instagram, Threads, Bluesky, and especially YouTube. The endless flood of other people’s thoughts. Their voices. Their opinions.

Sure, it’s good to stay informed. But if you’re always consuming, you’re not thinking. You start mistaking their voices for your own.

The fix? Speak. Write. Put your own words into the world. That’s what I’m doing with this blog. I cross-post to social media, but I treat it as write-only. I don’t care if anyone’s listening – 99% of my friends aren’t. They’re too busy scrolling.

And that’s fine. The only one who really needs to hear my voice is me.
