Simple 3-frame Animation with Procreate and GarageBand on the iPad.

I recently posted a short animation on my Instagram feed and several friends asked me how I made it. In this video, I give an overview of the process. I created almost all of it on my iPad mini.

I used Procreate for the animation, and then I used the Sunrizer app and GarageBand to put together a simple beat. Once I had those done, I saved the files to my Google drive and transferred it to my Mac so I could combine them in iMovie.

I suppose I could have used iMovie on the iPad as well, but I’m so comfortable using iMovie on the Mac that it was just easier to do it there.

I transferred the completed animation with song to my phone for uploading to Instagram.

This video it not a step-by-step how-to. It is just a quick overview of what I did. Even so, the video is just under 9 minutes long. Let me know if you have any questions about what I did. Enjoy!
