In September 2022 Joyce and I took an amazing trip on the Rocky Mountaineer. It traveled from Denver to Moab through some of the most spectacular scenery on the old Denver and Rio Grande line. The service was superb too. Great food, spacious seats, and you can get up and walk around whenever you feel like it. The train is a day train and sleeping accommodations are made at 5-star hotels along the route, so no cramped sleeping arrangements. I highly recommend the Rocky Mountaineer!
