I added a new project page called Diorama. I have a fascination for small scenes inside boxes, jars, and small containers.

I think this is an outgrowth of my model railroad hobby which is all about miniature scenes. My model railroad is big and expansive and allow me to dream big, which can be a problem when I end up dreaming too big.

This is why these smaller dioramas are appealing. The natural limitation of a small box or bell jar forces me to be creative and edit the scene to it’s bare minimum. I enjoy that process. Once I retire I plan to make many more of these miniature scenes.
