Legos and Love
Lego kits are made for specific models. Follow the instructions, and you get the exact design on the box. But the genius of Lego is in the parts. Interchangeable. Adaptable. Meant to be rebuilt into something entirely new.
We are kind of like that too. We come with our own “kits.” A set of experiences, values, and quirks that shape how we build our lives. The question is, what happens when we meet someone else?
Do we stick rigidly to our own design? Insist on our way of doing things? Or are we open to something new? Something unpredictable?
Love is like combining Lego kits. It’s a mix of two distinct sets, full of possibilities. The relationship you build can be even stranger and more weird than you are.
Actually, it will be if you let it.
But you have to be willing to ditch the instructions.
