Paxidermy (noun): /ˈpæksɪˌdɜːrmi/

    1. The art of creating joyful animal representations through sculptural techniques, often using materials like paper mache, to capture expressions of peace, happiness, and whimsy.
    2. A creative practice inspired by Theodore Geisel's "unorthodox taxidermy," reimagining traditional animal mounts with an emphasis on cheerful, exaggerated, or fantastical features.

Example: "Her living room is filled with paxidermy sculptures—smiling foxes, laughing llamas, and a grinning dragon—all crafted from paper mache."
