The Amplified Anger Algorithm
I’m stepping back from social media. Threads, Bluesky, Facebook—all of it.
Why? The wildfires in LA brought out the worst. Vitriol. Anger. Endless outrage. Grace and empathy? Nowhere to be found.
The real problem isn’t just the tech algorithms. It’s the human algorithm. We’re wired for snap judgments, not thoughtful reflection. Social media doesn’t create this. It amplifies it.
This isn’t new. Humans have always been this way. But now it’s louder. More chaotic. Harder to escape.
So, I’m out for a while.
