I hailed a Waymo yesterday for the second time. All I can say is Wow! We had it drive us home from Molinari’s in North Beach and it took us for an adventure through Chinatown and Pacific Heights. Along the way it encountered many trucks double parked, including on Stockton Street which meant it had to navigate into oncoming traffic. Stockton Street also featured men with handcarts on the street, not on the sidewalk. In spite of all the obstacles and heavy traffic, our robot driver did admirably and got us home safely. Very cool!
