New pics of the GM Volt

GM-volt.com has pictures of the production version of the Volt. I like it. Actually, I like it a lot better than the concept car.

Meanwhile, it looks like GM and the EPA might argue about MPG. It all depends on the battery charge at the end of the trip.

    gotta say i'm very disappointed in the new photos. typical GM… start with a kickass looking prototype, and bland-ify it to death for mass market. i used to work there and saw all the prototypes cruising around the proving grounds. still, i applaud them for creating an innovative vehicle. just need to power it with solar and you've got an infinite mpg vehicle!

    yeah, the prototype does have powerful and aggressive styling. It was a little too aggressive for my taste, but that's just me. I do admit though that the production Volt looks a bit too much like the Prius. It will be hard to be passionate for a $35K to $40K car that looks like a $25K car.
